电渣重electroslag remelting process (【技】 将冶炼好的钢铸造或锻压成电极,通过熔渣电阻热进行二次重熔的精炼工艺,也称 ESR 法。电渣重熔的基本过程是:将平炉、转炉或电炉炼好的钢铸造或锻压成金属棒,作为金属自耗电极;在铜制水冷结晶器中注人熔融的碱性渣,自耗电极一端插人渣池;自耗电极、渣池、金属熔池、铸锭、底水箱通过短网电缆和变压器形成回路;渣池靠本身的电阻加热到高温,自耗电极的端部被熔渣加热熔化,形成金属熔滴,然后金属熔滴脱落,穿过渣池进人金属熔池;由于水冷结晶器的强制冷却作用,液态金属迅速凝固,形成铸锭。电渣重熔的目的是提高金属纯度、改善铸锭结晶。)
