Target Audience: Students in Kindergarten to Grade 6.
Year Program Developed: Developed in the late 1960s, and was revised in 1996.
Program Focus: Comprehensive school health education.
Program Origins: Growing Healthy was developed with input from teachers and the US Public Health
Service, the Center for Disease Control’s Bureau of Health Education, and the American Lung
Association. Teacher input continues to drive the revisions of the program.
Description: Growing Healthy is designed to motivate and assist students to maintain and improve
their health, enabling them to develop skills and attitudes for health-related problem solving and
informed decision-making. The core elements are biology of the human body, principles of health and
wellness, and an understanding of health in the family, community, and the world. The main
foundational theories of Growing Healthy are The Social Learning Theory and The Social Inoculation
Theory. Each grade level of Growing Healthy contains 42-53 lessons divided into six phases.

Далее, другой вопрос, но нужно точно определиться. У них названия специфических предметов (как они называют courses) пишутся с большой буквы, например Algebra 1, остальные предметы неспецифические пишутся с маленькой буквы: I'll take literature and Advance Math M400 next year.

Теперь относительно наших предметов: Я изучаю следуюющие предметы: математику историю, географию. Если отталкиваться от наших реалий, то данное лицо изучает как раз специфические предметы, предназначенные для его возраста и их надо писать с большой буквы, так как в нашей системе классификатора нет (я имею ввиду номеров, например Grammar С100, Basic Writing E1003, etc.) Поэтому: I take the following courses: Math, History, Geography. Am I right?
