Contingency employment force package for a given combat support function or sub-functions for instance: geography, NRBC, etc. at a level lower or similar to the basic unit. A specialized support detachment is made up of an implementation cell cell or basic unit and of the liaison and implementation team integrated within the combined arms CP it is adapted for. It enables the commander of the specialized support detachment generally speaking a senior officer, or a junior officer after his/her command phase to exercise command as well as play his/her part as a specialized support adviser to the combined arms commander.
