operation blueprint
mil., logist.	The operation blueprint is the first staff document written during the operation planning. It presents the general outline of the operation which is planned when current events lead to think that a crisis or conflict might erupt in a near period. If an employment plan had been made beforehand for this specific crisis or conflict, this employment plan will be updated to make the operation blueprint. If such is not the case, it will be developed in the same manner as an employment plan. It briefly describes the military option used for the development of the operation plan. (FRA)
